SJ 4 (also known as Shijian 4 and Practice 4), a People's Republic of China science payload spacecraft, was launched by a Long March 3-A booster from the Xichang launch site into a near-geostationary orbit. It carried six instruments for measuring particle fluxes and spacecraft electric potential.
