A secondary payload launched with Cosmos 2334 was the UNAMSAT-B small satellite, for the Automonous University of Mexico (UNAM). It repaced a satellite lost in a launch failure in 1995. It used the 25 cm AMSAT Microsat bus and carried an experiment to determine the velocity of meteors using radio doppler echo, and a communications data relay for environmental sensors in remote locations.
