Brazilsat B3 was a Brazilian geosynchronous communications satellite launched from the Kourou Space Center in French Guiana aboard an Ariane 4 rocket. It carried 28 C-band transponders to provide voice and video communications to Brazil and other countries, after parking at 70 deg W longitude.
