Nadezhda 7, also called Nadezhda-M, is a Russian navigational satellite that was launched by a Cosmos-3M rocket from Plesetsk at 15:30 UT on 26 September 2002. It will participate in the international search-and-rescue network known as COSPAS-SARSAT, for ships at sea.
