Progress M-49



Progress M-49 is a Russian cargo carrier that was launched by a Soyuz-FG rocket from Baikonur at 12:34 UT on 25 May 2004. It carried 2.5 tonnes of supplies, water, food and fuel to the International Space Station (ISS). It docked automatically with the ZVEZDA module of the ISS at 13:55 UT on 27 May 2004. In preparation for the docking, the previously docked PROGRESS M1-11 was evacuated on 24 May, carrying all the trash from the ISS, and was destined for a controlled burn on 3 June.
