Progress M-50



Progress M-50 is a Russian cargo carrier that was launched by a Soyuz-U rocket from Baikonur at 05:03 UT on 11 August 2004. It carried 2.5 tonnes of food, fuel, air and water to the International Space Station (ISS). It docked automatically with the Zvesda module of the ISS at 05:02 UT on 14 August 2004. In anticipation of the docking, the previously docked PROGRESS-M 49 was undocked on 30 July, carrying a load of trash to deorbit and burn out.
