AMC 15



AMC 15, also known as Americom 15 is an American geostationary communications satellite that was launched by a Proton-M rocket from Baikonur at 21:23 UT on 14 October 2004. The 4.05 tonne satellite carries 24 Ku-band transponders and 12 spot-beam, Ka-band transponders to provide direct-to-home video, voice, and internet services to North America after parking over 105 deg-W longitude.
