SSETI-Express (Student Space Exploration and Technology Initiative-Express) is a student-built microsatellite of mass 62 kg that was launched by a Cosmos 3M rocket from Plesetsk at 06:52 UT on 27 October 2005. It will take pictures of the Earth and facilitate amateur radio links. It carried and released three picosatellites, each of mass 1 kg.
