The goal of this mission is to increase the precision of measurements of the Cosmic X-Ray Background (CXRB) in the 30-50 keV range, to constrain models that explain the relative contribution of cosmic X-Ray sources to the CXRB. It will produce data that will lend insight into the underlying physics of the Diffuse X-Ray Background and provide flight heritage for CZT-based X-Ray-gamma-ray detectors and CubeSat technologies.
