Delfi-n3Xt shall be a reliable triple-unit CubeSat of TU Delft which implements substantial advances in 1 subsystem with respect to Delfi-C³ and allows technology demonstration of 2 payloads from external partners from 2012 onwards. The mission is broken down into the three major objectives of the Delfi Space Program; education, technology demonstration (a.k.a. payloads) and nanosatellite bus advancement. The subsystem which is advanced substantially is the Attitude Determination and Control subsystem. While Delfi-C³ had only a passive magnetic stabilization mechanism, Delfi-n3Xt is equipped with a full three-axis determination and control system. All other subsystems are advanced as well on performance and reliability. There are three external partners with "payloads" onboard Delfi-n3Xt: TNO, ISIS and SystematIC. Delfi-n3Xt is ready for launch since early 2013.
