Beakersat 1, also called Eagle 1, MagPocketQube or SWEsat, is a FemtoSat built to the 2.5P PocketQube form factor (12.5 cm × 5 cm × 5 cm). After launch, it was renamed T-LogoQube.
The satellite was designed and Built by Undergraduate students at Sonoma State University and Morehead State University.
The approach taken on designing the subsytems bus for the PocketQube is to integrate a circuit with a Pic18F25K22 processor along with circuitry that contains components that will measure values such as: battery current and voltage; on-board temperature of the radio and processor; solar panel voltage, current, and temperature; and external temperature providing telemetry for the satellite and space environment monitoring. These values were transmitted to the ground station via Morse code through an on-board RFM22 transceiver.
