MTUSI-1

Description

MTUSI-1 is the fourteenth of fifty-four secondary payloads carried into orbit along with Ionosfera-M01 and Ionosfera-M02.

MTUSI-1 is a satellite of the CubeSat 6UXL format.

It was launched by the Roscosmos State Corporation within the framework of the UniverSat-2024 program. The MKA will provide targeted information that will complement the data received by the hydrometeorological and heliogeophysical spacecraft of the Roscosmos State Corporation: Meteor-M , Electro-L , Arktika-M , Ionosphere-M No. 1 and No. 2.

The galactic cosmic ray detector installed on MTUCI 1 is an important tool for studying heliogeophysical processes in near-Earth space. The air traffic monitoring equipment will be used to study the possibility of stable reception and collection of information from automatic dependent surveillance and broadcasting systems using an SDR receiver installed on board a small spacecraft (SSC).
