Description

Zeya was the first Russian spacecraft successfully launched by the Start 1 rocket (a converted SS-25 ICBM) from the Svobodnyi cosmodrome and the first launch from the cosmodrome in the Yakutia Republic in the Amur region. It was a military cartographic spacecraft.
