[Lockeford Moon Tree]

A coast redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) was planted at the Lockeford Plant Materials Center (PMC) sometime in 1979. Not much is known about the history of the tree. A copy from the accession log below shows the tree was received at the center on 18 March 1979.
