[Emporium Moon Tree Announcement]

The announcement above is from "The Bicentennial of the United States of America - A Final Report to the People", Volume 5. It indicates a Moon Tree was scheduled to be planted on the Cameron County Courthouse lawn in Emporium, Pennsylvania, on May 15, 1976. It is not known whether the planting took place as planned, or even what type of tree it was, although presumably it was a sycamore, given the region. Nothing further is known about the tree
