Forestry Commission Headquarters Moon Tree
Little Rock, Arkansas
A loblolly pine (Pinus taeda) was planted on 15 March 1976 at the
Forestry Commission Headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas.
According to Jerry Lambert, Public Information Officer for the
Arkansas Forestry Commission, the tree survived into the mid-1990s,
but fell victim to root nematodes and died.
