This Moon sycamore (platanus occidentalis) was located on the lawn in front of the administration building in a grove of trees planted for the colleges of the University of Idaho. This tree was planted in honor of the College of Mines and Earth Resources.

Unfortunately, the tree died some time between 2005 and 2014.

The tree was located at 46 deg 43.603 min N; 117 deg 0.575 min W
